This is an Intermediate Skill Level Class. You should have a good beginner understanding of these programs. A&S Plus and Brother SnC are not required, but are included for those with lots of quilting toys!

Custom Set Quilts and Motif Drawing
Get ready for summer!
Learn how to use the Custom Set Layout in Electric Quilt 8. Then we will design Motif and Motif Blocks using the drawing tools found in the Block Worktable.
There are nine blocks in this quilt top plus a few additional pieced blocks found in the Quilt Library.
Do you have a cutting machine? I'm even adding a lesson about creating cut files for applique - needle-turn and raw edge applique. My video, of course, will be using the Brother Scan N Cut.

Learn the process of creating a quilt block and quilt from scratch. I saw this block in a vintage quilt. I recreated it, re-colored it and set up in a new layout using the EQ Serendipity Tool. FUN!
Design in EQ Easy Draw and cut your Block Pieces with a Brother Scan N Cut (or other electronic cutting Machine). Students will receive Ocean Waves quilt pattern with SVG files (also available in my store) and complete instructional videos and handout. Programs used: Electric Quilt 8, Corel Draw / Inkscape, and Canvas Workspace or Cricut Design Space |
